OurHistory
While Walter Patrick succeeded in growing Carolina PDQ into one of PDQ Manufacturing’s and CSI’s top distributorships, by 1999 he was ready to give up the distributorship and focus solely on operating car washes. In March of 2000, Walter and Patricia Patrick sold Carolina PDQ to Carolina Pride and began building up their car wash business.Over the next four years they would grow from operating three Laserwashes to operating sixteen Laserwashes. First came Dixie Laserwash in 2001 and then in rapid succession came Guilford College Laserwash, Bluefield Laserwash, Brassfield Laserwash and a partnership with Mega Wash of Greensboro that added the remaining five Laserwashes. In 2004 Walter once again expanded Patrick Enterprises, Incorporated by starting a car wash research and development group named KenPat, LLC. During its three years of existence KenPat provided both Patrick Enterprises and several equipment manufacturers valuable information on design and product improvements.
